Restoration of the Rotunda

The historic grandeur of the Capitol Rotunda is in the process of being restored. The 1888 trompe l’oeil paint scheme has been returned to the upper levels of the Rotunda.

Artisans from EverGreene Architectural Arts recently completed restoring the 1888 decorative paint scheme to the upper levels of the Rotunda. The beautiful stained glass lay light will soon be reinstalled, as well.
