July 10, 2019 Open House and Celebration
The Capitol opened to public tours of the facility on July 10. The Capitol is open for self-guided tours 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. The Capitol will be open extended hours July 20 & 27 from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The Wyoming House of Representatives held a brief opening ceremony for the House Chamber on July 10.
Current and former Wyoming Supreme Court Justices held a brief opening ceremony of the Historic Supreme Court Room in the Capitol on July 10.
The July 10 festivities included performances by Canyon Kids, 67th Army Band, a League of Her Own Acting Troupe, Ballet Wyoming, Wind River Dancers, the The Woodpile, and Chancey Williams and The Younger Brothers Band.
A big Wyoming shout out of gratitude to all the law enforcement agencies and first responders for keeping our communities safe on a daily basis and for helping at the July 10 event!

Today's Fallen Warrior Memorial Ceremony honored all Wyoming veterans who have died in service to our state and nation, and included a flag folding ceremony and playing Taps.
More than 130 years after it first opened to the public, the Wyoming Capitol reopened after a critical restoration. Thousands attended the July 10 ribbon cutting and tours of the project.
Several roads around the Wyoming Capitol will be closed for the July 10 Capitol Square Open House and Celebration festivities in Cheyenne. Parking will be limited, but the Cheyenne Trolley will offer free transportation between the Spiker Parking Garage, Historic Governor’s Mansion and South Supreme Court Lawn.
Chancey Williams and the Younger Brothers Band is the music headliner for the July 10 Capitol Square Open House and Celebration festivities. The day kicks off with a performance by Canyon Kids, a folk/rock band out of Jackson, at noon along with food trucks and activities at the Wyoming State Museum. The Capitol ribbon cutting starts at 1:00 p.m., followed by tours of the Capitol Square Project, more live music, and fireworks .
