Views of the Capitol restored
/ Guest UserWelcome to May in Wyoming! One day it is spring, the next winter. Check out these views of the Capitol from the north side of Capitol Avenue.
With the removal of the Herschler atrium, the views to the Capitol from the north side of Capitol Avenue have been restored, along with views into the neighborhood from the north side of the Capitol.
Removal of the atrium will reduce noise traveling through the building, lower heating and cooling costs, and increase security in the building by creating enclosed office suites.
Removal of the Herschler atrium started in 2016.
