Decorative paint in the Rotunda
/Based on historic studies, decorative paint is being restored in the corridors around the Rotunda.
The restored decorative paint design (left) in comparison to the current design, which adorns the walls in the corridor around the Rotunda on the second floor.
The trompe l’oeil design had been used originally in the monumental corridors in the 1888 section of the Capitol.
