Abatement work continues
/Historic material and fabric protection and salvage work has started in the Capitol. Timeliness of this work was key to maintaining the state’s abatement contract scheduleFurthermore, this work is critical in protecting those historic items that will remain in the Capitol during construction, and safely salvaging items that will be reused in the renovation efforts. The work started in the Garden Level (basement) and will continue at each level.
